Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of RIGR.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of rigr.in and the RIGR platform (together, the "Service"), operated by Volz Eco Solutions ("RIGR", "we", "us"). By creating an account, submitting a request, or listing equipment, you agree to these Terms.
1. What RIGR Is
RIGR is a marketplace that connects owners of construction equipment ("Owners") with contractors and businesses who need equipment on rent ("Renters"). RIGR facilitates discovery, booking, logistics coordination, billing, and support for these rentals. Except where we say otherwise, the rental contract for a specific booking is between the Owner and the Renter — RIGR is not a party to that underlying contract, though we provide the platform, payment handling, and the additional services (telematics, insurance facilitation, support) described on our site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts in India to use the Service. If you're using RIGR on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Accounts and Listings
You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, including equipment listings. Owners represent that they lawfully own or are authorised to rent out any equipment they list, that it's in the condition described, and that it complies with applicable safety and emissions regulations. RIGR may verify, suspend, or remove listings or accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, unsafe, or non-compliant.
4. Bookings, Fees, and Payment
When a booking is confirmed, Renters agree to pay the rental fee, any applicable security deposit, and delivery/logistics charges shown at the time of booking. RIGR charges a commission on completed rentals, and collects and remits applicable GST as required by law. Payments are processed through our payment gateway partner; RIGR does not store your card details.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation charges, refund timelines, and security deposit handling are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Equipment Use, Risk, and Insurance
Renters are responsible for operating rented equipment safely, in accordance with applicable law and any operating instructions provided, and for using it only for its intended purpose. Rental transactions on RIGR are insured as described on our site; the specific terms, exclusions, and claims process for that coverage will be set out in the insurance documentation provided at the time of booking, and nothing in these Terms should be read as expanding that coverage beyond its actual terms.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: list equipment you don't own or aren't authorised to rent out; provide false information; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to circumvent RIGR's platform to avoid fees on a booking sourced through RIGR; or interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Service.
8. Intellectual Property
The RIGR name, logo, and platform are the property of RIGR. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our brand or software except as needed to use the Service as intended.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." While we take reasonable steps to verify listings and facilitate safe, compliant rentals, RIGR does not guarantee the condition, availability, or performance of any specific piece of equipment, which remains the responsibility of the Owner and, in respect of safe operation, the Renter.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIGR's liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees paid to RIGR in connection with the specific booking giving rise to the claim. RIGR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify RIGR against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of equipment, or violation of applicable law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; obligations relating to completed or ongoing bookings survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion; unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, unless the parties agree in writing to refer the matter to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
