Horizontal Directional Drill Rental
Bring your trenchless installation requirement to RIGR. Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) is a rental enquiry category for projects across India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan, with equipment and scope confirmed against the proposed work.
Start With the Installation Brief
Share what is being installed, the proposed alignment and the available project drawings. The route, installation dimensions and ground information give the equipment review a sound starting point; a machine name alone does not.
If your project team has specified pullback, torque or tooling requirements, include them with the supporting design information. RIGR reviews the brief before confirming a proposed machine, its configuration, availability and price.
What to Include in Your Request
Send the information available now and identify anything still awaiting survey or design confirmation.
- Site address and country, required start date, and weekly, monthly or yearly rental duration
- Proposed bore length, depth profile and installation diameter, with pipe or duct details
- Ground investigation information, known groundwater conditions and identified obstructions
- Utility survey information and the status of the bore plan and required permissions
- Entry and exit locations, working space, access restrictions and delivery arrangements
- Expected working hours, site contact and any supporting equipment requirements
Define the Working Package
Ask for the quotation to identify the equipment, operator and tooling supplied. Clarify responsibility for drilling fluids and consumables, water, fluid management, spoil removal and supporting plant. Do not assume these are included simply because an HDD machine is requested.
Transport is separately chargeable. Agree fuel, maintenance responsibilities, insurance scope, taxes, included operating hours, overtime and the meter-reporting method. Unloading, handling and transit insurance require express inclusion in the written quotation.
Coordinate the Site and the Schedule
Machine selection does not replace utility checks, an approved bore plan or site permissions. Tell us who is responsible for each part of the work and which approvals remain outstanding.
If the drill is one part of a wider package, include excavation, lifting, haulage or other equipment in the same enquiry. Separate each machine's dates and location so the proposed sequence and mobilisation requirements can be reviewed together.
Is a Particular HDD Model or Quantity Advertised?
HDDs are selected on the basis of drilling depth, bore dia, length and type of strata. Reach out to RIGR for rates for your project.
Can I Submit an Early-Stage Requirement?
Yes. Share the current brief and clearly mark unconfirmed dimensions, ground information or dates. Our experts can help you assess feasibility for a project or for cost analysis.
