HDD and Passenger Hoist Rentals

New equipment categories for trenchless installations and vertical site access. Understand where they fit, why renting can suit a project phase and what to clarify in your quotation.

Horizontal Directional Drill

HDD gives infrastructure teams a way to plan underground utility installation where a continuous open trench may be disruptive or impractical. Suitability depends on the ground, route, existing services and project design.

Why Rent Rather Than Buy?

Bring in specialist equipment for the installation phase without committing capital to a machine that may be idle between projects. Match the machine to the bore rather than adapting every job to a machine you already own.

What Does the Rental Cover?

The standard rental covers equipment and an operator for the agreed term and hours. Your HDD quotation must identify the machine, tooling and responsibilities. Transport is separately chargeable.

Confirm drilling fluids, consumables, water, fluid handling, spoil removal, support plant, fuel, taxes, overtime and insurance scope in writing. These are not automatically included because an HDD machine is requested.

Passenger Hoist

Total Capacity
500 kg / 1 ton / 2 ton
Cage Configuration
Single / Double
Required Height
10–100 m

Total capacity applies across the selected configuration, not to each cage independently. Enter the height manually in your enquiry.

Organise vertical access as a project rises. A correctly specified passenger hoist supports planned workforce movement between levels, with the configuration and site requirements reviewed before deployment.

Why Rent Rather Than Buy?

Align the hire period with your construction programme instead of carrying purchase, storage and idle-equipment commitments after the phase ends. Select the capacity and cage configuration for this site, not the last one.

What Does the Rental Cover?

The standard rental covers equipment and an operator for the agreed term and hours. Confirm installation, commissioning, inspections, maintenance and dismantling responsibilities in your written quotation; do not assume they are included.

Transport is separately chargeable. Confirm power, site preparation, anchoring arrangements, handling, taxes, overtime and insurance scope before booking.
